Beyonce’s Bow Down on Wendy Williams Hot Talk: Thumbs Down
Wendy Williams and her panel of guests talked about the latest Beyonce controversy, her first single in two years in which the singer advises up and coming singers to bow down and calls them “bitches.”

Singer, actress, dancer and former wife of Prince, Mayte García, thinks that the song was Jay-Z’s idea. Well, yeah, blame the man, Mayte. But seriously, when has anything Beyonce has ever done been her own idea?
Showbiz Tonight host, A.J. Hammer, says while the song may appear to be contrary to Bey’s image, he thinks there’s more to the story and when he gets to talk to Beyonce about it, presumably on his show, the truth about it will all come out — or if not the truth, at least a positive spin.
Which brings us to CSB Sunday Morning’s Nancy Giles. She said she wishes she wrote the song and there are times when women do need to just “go off” and tell people to bow down to them.
Wendy Williams heartily disagreed with that idea saying it’s like if you need to point out that you’re a diva, you’re not really a diva. In general they all agreed that Beyonce does not need this kind of attention, and probably not. But she probably will make loads of money off it.
At the end of the day, it’s a song and Beyonce is a singer. When you look at it that way, she can sing whatever she wants, without it having to be a personal statement.
