One Million Beat Shazam Round – 6 songs
First 5: $25,000 each. They only get a shot at the million if they get all 5 right. There are no multiple choice screens and they have to know the song’s exact title before Shazam to be right.
1. U2: “Desire” – Despite being a huge U2 fan, Ryan couldn’t put his finger on the title from the lyric that played. The million is off the table.
2. BREAKUP SONGS: “Lips Are Movin'” (Meghan Trainor) – Dillon got this one. $116,000
3. MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS: “Live and Let Die” (Paul McCartney & Wings) – Working at a movie theater has its advantages $141,000
4. ONE-HIT WONDERS: “Collide” (Howie Day) – They’re on a roll now. $166,000
5. DIVAS: “Emotions” (Mariah Carey) – They finish up with 4 out of 5. They began the round with $91,000 and finished with $191,000.

Ryan & Dillon can’t win a million but they can play another song and double their $191,000 to $382,000 if they get that song right. If they don’t know the exact title of the song, they will lose half their money and go home with $95,500. The twins had misgivings about the ’60s category and chose to “take the money and run.” In the audience, their parents applauded that decision. They played the last song for fun all the same but didn’t know the 1968 No. 1 hit “Hello, I Love You” by The Doors. The lyric played was “walkin’ down the street, blind to every”… (about 0.25 in this video)

So, even though they totally dominated this game, Ryan & Dillon made a wise decision not to gamble on a category they were not very comfortable with. How much will those winnings help them with their med school plans? Take a gander at this article if you really want to get an idea on that.
