We began the week with 2 triple solves in a row. That bubble burst when no one got Final Jeopardy! on Wednesday. Only one player got the last two clues of the week, the same fellow we might add. In a week of relatively easy FJs, Wednesday’s clue was a cinch for this Russian literature lover and classic movies fan. Monday’s was the hardest, although I got it on a lucky coin flip.
Jonathan Fisher returned on Monday for his 11th game. He won that game for cumulative winnings of $246,100, but he couldn’t make it an even dozen when Nancy Donehower defeated him on Tuesday. Nancy lost to Tyler Rhode on Wednesday and by Friday, Tyler had racked up 3 wins and $58,301.
