The extremes of the week came along in the last 3 games, with two triple stumpers followed by a triple solve. I thought Friday’s clue was the easiest and the players all agreed by getting it right. I thought Wednesday’s clue was the hardest and the players agreed with that, too. Thursday’s triple stumper came about by one of those name mistakes that folks love to argue was unfair. It doesn’t matter how many times it happens or even if the show itself says “dem’s da rules”, there always seems to be a few people who never heard of the rule or saw it happen before.
Lance St. Laurent was the returning champ on Monday. He lost to Phil Hoffman who won a second game on Tuesday. Phil won a total $37,390 before Andy West won on Wednesday. Andy lost to Alan Johnson on Thursday. Sam Stapleton was Friday’s winner and will be Monday’s returning champ.
