Monday’s triple stumper was the hardest of the week and the only triple stumper. All the clues for the rest of the week were pretty easy and the mixed results can only be attributed to overthinking and/or misunderstanding the wording. I can’t decide which of the last three clues was the easiest.
Sarah Jett Rayburn was the returning champ on Monday and she continued her winning ways until Jesse Laymon showed up on Thursday. Jesse won again on Friday and we will see him again whenever the normal games resume. As a 4x champ, Sarah is now on the ToC list.
Here is the “Billboard Music Awards” category that was in the first round of Wednesday game, from from Jeopardy!’s YouTube channel

Jesse will appear on next season.
Actually, Season 36will wrap up on july 24th so jesse will still be here before then. The summer reruns will begin July 27th and end on September 4th 2020 to start off Season 37.
There are some articles online speculating on how many new episodes are left. Here is one on Distractify written by a former contestant who says “You’ll know they’re nearing the end of the new episodes available when you start seeing episodes without an audience. For at least one week before they shut down completely, both Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune recorded without audiences in an effort to keep things going while practicing social distancing.”
The show will announce what’s going to happen and when they do, I will post a link to the announcement. In the meantime, I don’t want to hear about it every day!!!! Is that clear enough?
Someone told me Jesse is back on the 18th.
Let’s hope for Sarah in the Tournament of Champions!
