WHAT IS OAK RIDGE?
From the National Park Foundation website: “During World War II, the United States carried out a secret program called The Manhattan Project, which led to the creation of the atomic bomb. The Manhattan Project National Historical Park helps preserve this important time in history.” That is followed by descriptions of the work at the three separate sites: the Oak Ridge, TN site was headquarters for the Manhattan Project “as well as a center for plutonium production and uranium enrichment.” The main purpose of the Hanford, WA site was to create large quantities of plutonium. Los Alamos, NM is the site where the atomic bombs were designed and built.

I know Jennofer ftom her days in Boston. Love seeing her in the spotlight
She was also an amazing ballroom dancer. Go Jennifer
I thought Denise Page looked very familiar. Was she on Jeopardy before?
No, she wasn’t, Laurie. The only other contestant from Maspeth was on the show during Kids Week in 2014 in this game.
Maspeth, New York does not do well on Jeopardy!
Jennifer played well today and with six wins, she has been pretty dominant just like Lisa Schlitt and Kerry Greene. Doug and Denise were on the right track but not in the right area for final jeopardy despite him not being able to build up momentum. I loved that pun henry mortar VJ but does a mortar shell do more damage than shrapnel does?
I really have no idea which does more damage, Lou.
That’s the first time I ever saw Alex make a prediction!
