Andrew found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Your Face is on the Money” under the $1,000 clue. There were two whole categories (OTC & Fatherly TV) left after it. He was in second place with $3,600, $800 less than Michael’s lead. He bet $1,400 and he was RIGHT.

Michael finished in the lead with $7,200. Andrew was second with $6,000 and Amy was last with $3,400.

Michael found the first Daily Double in “Q Not Followed by U ” under the $2,000 clue on the 5th pick of the round. In the lead with $9,200, he had $3,200 more than Andrew in second place. He bet $3,000 and he was RIGHT.

Amy found the last Daily Double in “Beast of the Bible” under the $1,600 clue. She was in third place with $6,200 now, $5,200 less than Michael’s lead. She bet $2,000 and she was RIGHT.

Andrew finished in the lead with $17,200. Michael was next with $17,000 and Amy was in third place with $9,400.

Michael got it right. His $3,000 bet brought him up to $20,000.
Andrew started out with Shelley but switched to Byron. Good thing because he bet $16,801. That change won him the game with $34,001 and gave him a 6-day total of $170,202.

Kind of difficult fj today.
Damn! Andrew just became a six time champion just like kerry green was back in 2015. But still though if Andrew keeps winning like this then he could even surpass Arthur Chu and Matt Jackson
I’m not seeing him as being as dominant a player as Chu or Jackson. Michael actually would have been in the lead except he made a couple of moves that cost him that.

@Duck — This was the pivotal clue in that 1816 category: “Argentinians declared independence as Las Provincias Unidas del this Rio.”
At this point, Michael had $17,800 and Andrew had $15,800. Michael lost $800 with Rio de la Plat. Andrew picked it up with de la Plata.
The next clue (the last one answered) gave Andrew the lead he finished with: $1200 – This man’s opera “The Barber of Seville” premiered in Rome.
I’m not the best at math, but I came up with they would have finished in a tie if Michael had not buzzed in on that $800 clue. If Andrew just got both of them — they would have finished in a tie
