Supporting Cast of Poker: Ray Donovan

Here are the some of the actors who were in the supporting cast of “Poker”, Ray Donovan, Season 3, Episode 11.

Pat Healy played Jeff Barker, the police officer who had to question Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber) after Andrew Finney (Ian McShane) claimed Ray murdered Varick Strauss. We’re not sure if Barker was a detective. Ray called him “captain” at one point. Barker told his superior Thomas Gibbs (played by Tim Powell) that Finney wasn’t innocent no matter how you look at it, but Gibbs pointed out that was irrelevant: Ray was a “drag knuckle thug” and Finney was… “a pillar of the community and a friend to the Department,” Barker finished. Besides being that quick, he had quite the twisted sense of humor when he questioned Ray, pretending that he had a signed statement from Finney’s wife, Charlotte, stating that Ray forced her into sex at gunpoint. Ray sat there with his poker face and Barker laughed and said he was just effing with Ray.

Skyler Shaye played Cindy, the hooker who deflowered Conor Donovan a few episodes ago. At Mickey’s (Jon Voight) “goodbye” party, Conor (Devon Bagby) tried to make a date with Cindy to go to the movies. Cindy told him that would be $200. Conor seemed to take the revelation that Cindy was a hooker a bit hard and Mickey had to give him some “good” advice: stay away from sex workers until he was older. Daryll (Pooch Hall) wasn’t there right then or he would have told Conor to stay away from them when he’s older too. Michelle (Christy Williams) stole his money and Mickey’s Caddy and left him a cup of coffee outside that said “sorry” on the lid.

— Audrey (Shree Crooks) got her first part playing a little girl with leukemia. Her mother Ginger (Fairuza Balk) told Mickey: “She’s got a little bald cap and everything.”
— Abby (Paula Malcomson) and Terry (Eddie Marsan) shared a kiss that crossed the in-law line. Ugh! Did we have to go there?
— Sometimes a dead black bird is just a dead black bird. At least that’s what we think was up with that bird that dropped dead right outside the Donovan house in the beginning of the episode.
