Supporting Cast: Night to Remem- Wait, What? Shameless

Luca Oriel made his first appearance as Derek in “A Night to Remem- Wait, What?” (Shameless S5 E4). Derek saved Debbie (Emma Kenney) from a good pounding by Holly Herkimer (Danica York) and her Mean Girls posse. Debbie tracked him down at Reflex Athletics and took a free class in boxing. We’ll have to wait to see how she is going to pay for more classes but it’s a sure thing we’ll be seeing more of Derek.

Sam Lloyd played Buddy Diamond, the businessman who took a big chunk of Frank’s insurance money (or pai gow winnings, whichever you prefer) when Frank was on an epic bender. Buddy spent it on artificial limbs for homeless kids. Leila Zaragoza played the little one-legged girl who fought Frank for her $60K leg.

Ian Kahn and Suzanne Cryer returned as Amanda’s adoptive parents, Jason and Cheryl. How will Jason taking a genuine interest in Lip’s future affect his relationship with Amanda?

One of her favorite twisted interests in life certainly is thumbing her nose at Jason and Cheryl.
