The week before the 2-week TOC, we had a champ a day, and that happened again this week, so in regular play, we are 10 champs in 10 days:

As regular readers know, since Season 31 began, we have seen a lot of bet-to-tie scenarios, so many that we even made a bet-to-tie tag. January, 2014 was when it all began, when Arthur Chu bet to tie in 4 times (but only one game resulted in co-champs). The following month, Arthur did it once more. The second biggest month was October, 2014. There were 5 bet-to-tie scenarios and 3 of them resulted in co-champs, two in the same week!

That must have been when the producers said enough of that stuff! During this week, we have not seen one bet-to-tie scenario and, even though it has not been announced, it still pretty much confirms reports that the contestants are being told that tie games will now be decided by a tie-breaker question.
