Round 1: John found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Inventive Thinking” under the $1,000 clue. He was in the lead with $4,200, $1,600 more than Chris in second place. He bet $2,000 and he was RIGHT.

John finished in the lead with $8,400. Chris was second with $4,200 and Jim was last with $2,000.
Round 2: John found the first Daily Double in “European Rivers” under the $1,600 clue. He was now in the lead with $11,200, $7,000 ahead of Chris in second place. He bet $3,000 and he was RIGHT.

John found the last Daily Double in “Social Science Books” under the $1,200 clue. In the lead with $16,600, he had $14,200 more than Jim in second place. He bet $1,000 but did not know so he was WRONG.

John finished in the lead with a runaway $17,200. Jim was next with $6,000 and Chris was in third place with $4,200.

Chris got it right. He bet it all and finished with $8,400.
Jim wrote down “Heidi”. He lost his $2,400 bet, finishing with $3,600. Alex Trebek loved the humor of it and said: “A descent into Iceland’s Mount Sneffels with Heidi. She was a fun kinda girl.”
John also got it right. He bet $1,800 so he won this match with $19,000. His 2-day total is $35,400.
