Finally Married: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Congratulations to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who were finally married on Saturday, August 23, at their very own chateau in France, in a small private ceremony. The couple’s children participated in the ceremony with Maddox and Pax giving away their mother. Zahara and Vivienne were flower girls and Shiloh and Knox were ring bearers.

News reports says that members of Brad Pitt’s family were in attendance, but Jolie’s father, Jon Voight, didn’t even know about it. He found out about it online and, according to TMZ, said he couldn’t have gone anyway because he had to go to the Emmy Awards on August 25th. He was nominated for a Best Supporting in a Drama Series Emmy for his role as Mickey Donovan in “Ray Donovan. (He didn’t win. Aaron Paul won for his role as Jesse Pinkman on “Breaking Bad”).

We were going to say we are very glad that this will put a stop to all the phony stories about Brad and Angelina wedding plans that have been popping up with great regularity for at least the past seven years. Then we remembered that now that they are married, phony divorce stories will start popping up with great regularity!
