Constantine, Did You Kill My Father?

In “Family Secrets,” the second episode of FOX’s new series, “The Mob Doctor,” Grace has to save a mobster named, Donte Amato, who is so seriously ill, she can’t just treat him at his home, but has to sneak him in the hospital and pretend he’s a 92-year-old guy who just died to be able to get to the bottom of what’s killing him.

While Donte is in the hospital, he mentions to Grace that she has a nice ass. No offense, he adds, and Grace does not take any. He says she got all her looks from her mother, not her dad. He probably has no way of knowing Grace actually saw her father get shot to death on her birthday, but she wants to know if Donte knows who killed her father. “Ask Constantine,” he says.

That makes Grace think Constantine did it and she does ask him straight out. Constantine swears that he did not kill her father.

Later, Constantine has a brief conversation with Grace’s mother who basically tells him to get lost and we think !!OMG!! He was telling the truth — he didn’t kill her father because he IS her father!!
