Wendy Williams Jersey Trivia Quiz

Wendy Williams had three Real Housewives of New Jersey on her talk show today (July 1st) and because Wendy is herself a Jersey girl, she decided to conduct a Jersey Trivia Quiz called “Do You Know Jersey like I know Jersey?

Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita were Team One (because they went first). Teresa Guidice and Wendy were on Team Two.

Team One picked c. the Perspiration. The score was tied.

3. What is New Jersey’s motto?
a. Freedom and health.
b. Freedom or hairspray
c. Liberty and prosperity
d. Liberty for all.

Wendy didn’t even know New Jersey had a motto. Team Two picked b. because they didn’t know it was c. Liberty and prosperity.

4. Two-thirds of the world’s what is grown in New Jersey?
a. Corn
b. Eggplants
c. Tomatoes
d. Guidos

Caroline and Jacqueline said it was either corn or tomatoes. They thought it was a trick question because everything is grown in New Jersey, but they gave what was supposed to be the correct answer — c. Tomatoes.

New Jersey doesn’t really even lead the USA in tomato production, nevermind the world. California does. So who knows where they came up with that question. Maybe they meant Jersey tomatoes. New Jersey actually produces more blueberries, cranberries, spinach, bell peppers, peaches and head lettuce, than tomatoes.

They called the game a tie even though Team One really didn’t get any wrong.

Back when Wendy went to school in Ocean County, they didn’t have internet, so that may explain why she never knew the state motto, but nowadays kids can visit this page to learn about the State Seal of New Jersey which has two female figures: Liberty and the Roman goddess Ceres to represent prosperity.

What an easy quiz. Every correct answer was c. We thought they would have some good questions like:

What part of Jersey are you from if you call taylor ham pork roll?

What exit do you take on the Garden State Parkway South to get on the Atlantic City Expressway? The Housewives should have known that by heart. They’re always talking about Atlantic City. Then it really would have been even more helpful if they asked which casino has the best payouts. Then we would know where to go after we took that exit.
