Hines Ward: Dancing with the Cops

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver and current Dancing with the Stars contestant, Hines Ward, were stopped by the police in North Hollywood early o Thursday May 4th, under suspicious of being in a stolen vehicle. It all turned out to be mix-up but not before the officers put Hines in handcuffs!

Hines and a female friend were ordered to get out of the car — which turned out to be her car. Hines’ gal pal had truly reported the vehicle stolen and just neglected to inform the police when she found out where she had parked it.

The couple were both handcuffed until the officers were able to confirm they were being told the truth. Then they were uncuffed and allowed to go peacefully and legally on their way.

On Dancing with the Stars, Hines and his professional dancing partner Kym Johnson have been doing so well, they made it to the final six couples and Hines is now up against rap star, Romeo; the original Karate Kid Ralph Macchio; Disney actess, Chelsea Kane; and actress Kirstie Alley.
