Marlins Kyle Stowers Homers Five Times in Two Games

Miami Marlins outfielder Kyle Stowers had a great week at the plate in just two games.

In Miami’s July 13th game, the last one before the All Star break, Stowers was five for five with three home runs and six RBIs in the Marlins’ 11-1 route of the Orioles in Baltimore. Then on July 18th, in the Marlins’ first game back after the break, Stowers was three for five with two homers and five RBIs—his second homer was a walk off—as Miami beat the Kansas City Royals 8-7 in 10 innings.

In between those performances, Stowers played in the All-Star game, including participating in the Swing Off that determined the winner.

Through games of July 18th, Stowers is hitting .298 with 21 homers and 59 RBIs with an OPS of .935.
