Vanessa Hudgens Hacking Only Tip of Iceberg

After nude and semi-nude photos of actress Vanessa Hudgens were recently leaked, the actress met with the FBI to cooperate in an investigation of a “hacker ring” that has, according to TMZ, been busy collecting emails and cell phone numbers of actresses so they can hack into their stuff and embarrass these famous ladies online. The HuffPost has a slideshow of some of these photos, one of which shows a purported Ms. Hudgens conducting a prior investigation of what is in her panties.

TMZ has been hot on the trail of finding out who is on that list. As to “Why?” the hackers are doing this: it’s all for the thrill of it, not for money. Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are two other Disney stars reported to be on this list.

Law enforcement sources say the FBI already knows the ringleader’s identity. Other stars TMZ claims to have confirmed are on the hackers’ list: Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba, Christina Aguilera, Ali Larter, Miley Cyrus, Busy Philipps, Emma Caulfield, Addison Timlin and Renee Olstead. The hackers, they report, are also going after politicians and high-profile sports figures.
