Christian Walker Continues Torrid Home Run Pace at Dodger Stadium

Does Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker like hitting home runs in Dodger Stadium? The answer is yes. Walker belted a pair of homers on Independence Day at Dodger Stadium in the Diamondbacks’ 9-3 victory over the Dodgers. He also blasted a pair of homers in the Diamondbacks’ 12-4 win on July 3rd, and he also hit one in Arizona’s 6-5 loss on July 2nd. He now has 19 home runs in 42 career games there.

During the three game series, Walker was eight for 13 at the plate, with seven runs scored, one double, and nine RBIs to go with those five homers. He’s having a pretty good season at the plate overall, hitting .271 with 22 homers and 62 RBIs through 87 games. On the downside, at least for Arizona fans, the Diamondbacks have just four games left with the Dodgers, and those are at home over the Labor Day weekend.
