Wow! It was not a great week for Final Jeopardy! clues at all. Two clues stumped everyone at the start of the week. There was only one correct response to the 2 end of the week clues. In the middle was Wednesday’s clue with 2 correct responses from the 2 players left in the final round. The scientist clue was hardest for me. They usually are. Monday’s clue was easy for me.

The 2 very young singing stars I thought of were the right answer and Little Peggy March. I easily eliminated Little Peggy because her No. 1 hit came in the early ’60s. She still holds the record for the youngest female artist with a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. That’s something to remember, isn’t it? Billboard’s No. 1 female record holders are Little Peggy March (youngest) and the 1958 singer (oldest). The bank in the NYC slum was also easy for me.

Amar Kakirde returned on Monday and added $14,500 to his 3-day winnings of $41,399. On Tuesday, Abby Mann sent Amar back to the Garden State when she finished with $5,200, the most money in a triple stumper situation. Adriana Harmeyer won Wednesday’s game, as well as the next two. She has won $71,600 so far.

So $91,300 went to this week’s Jeopardy! champs and another $25,000 went to the runners-up.

Here is the Canon Events category from Thursday’s game.

It’s 5,200 for Abby Mann. But I don’t think that is the lowest 1 day total of regular games in Season 40.
