The show’s format pits 3 contestants against each other and 3 Master Minds against each other. There are 3 rounds and the contestant with the highest score wins $1,000 and faces off in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge against the winning Master Mind. If the contestant beats the Master Mind, the prize money goes up to $10,000.

Round 2: There are 5 subjects and questions. No multiple choice. Correct answers are worth 200 points for the first 4. The last question is worth 400 points. At the end of the round, the person with the lowest score on each team is eliminated.

Jonathan finished with 4300 to Muffy’s 1700 so Jonathan will join Jon in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge. If Jon beats Jonathan, he will win $10,000 and return on the next show. Any player who makes it through 2 shows and wins $20,000, gets to join the Master Minds expert team.

What I enjoy about Master Minds is that they all have “off” days. Consistency would make it boring imo if the same person dominated every day.
Muffy was really off her game in round 3 today. She’s usually the buzzer demon, her and Ryan at least. Jonathan beat the pants off of her today. And then in the bonus round, I figured the president was like in between JFK and Ronald Reagan. I would’ve said Carter instead of Ford though.
I wonder if that was a guess or Jonathan just knew that Ford factoid. In this article, Ford said it was one of the greatest summers of his life, but he looks totally miserable in the picture 🤣🤣🤣

Imo it was a math question. Carter would have been too young in 1936. A person has to be at least 21 years old to be a Park Ranger. Truman would have been far too old. I find that Jonathan is good in the quantitative areas. Imo he did the math in his head. I may be wrong.
