I have to say that most of this week’s clues were easy, even the triple stumper on Thursday. There was a great hint in the clue that all three players overlooked. That doesn’t make the clue hard although some may say that made it tricky. The real tricky one was Wednesday’s History clue. Teachers should take note of what happened and incorporate this information into American history and social studies lessons in the USA. Even if it doesn’t cost you a bunch of money on a game show, it’s good to know.
4x champ Mattea Roach returned for her 5th game on Monday. It was a bit of a nail-biter for Mattea’s fans when she didn’t finish in the lead, but she prevailed with the lone solve in Final Jeopardy! Mattea won every game for the rest of the week and was a 9x champ by Friday. This week, she added $106,202 to last week’s $104,600 for a total of $210,802. Mattea had two runaway games, one payday over $30K and two under $15K.
Here is the “HOUSEHOLD INITIALS” category from Wednesday’s game. The $600 clue brought back memories of a nightmare I had after I accidentally tore one of those things off a pillow, when I was about 8 years old. I dreamed I was hiding behind the sofa when the police came to arrest me!
