Where is Roger Hodgson Now?

Wherever he is today, Roger Hodgson is celebrating his 64th birthday. The legendary founding member and former frontman of Supertramp is also preparing to go on a worldwide tour next month. It will kick off at the Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, Arizona on April 25th and continue on to Wisconsin (but all the shows there are already sold out). Then Roger will head to Europe and appear in Spain, France, Norway, with a stop back in the States in Naperville, IL on July 5th, and then on to Germany.

 
Here is a video with “The Logical Song,” our favorite Supertramp hit. From Supertramp’s 1979 album “Breakfast in America”, the song reached No. 7 in the UK and No. 6 in the USA. In Canada, it went to No. 1 on the Canadian RPM Singles Chart. It also won the 1979 Ivor Novello Award for “Best Song Musically and Lyrically.”

“The Logical Song” is one of the Supertramp hits that was composed and sung by Roger Hodgson. In fact, on Roger’s website, there is a list showing exactly which songs were written by Roger and which were written by Supertramp’s Rick Davies.
