Warriors Improve to 20-0; 76ers are 1-19
The Golden State Warriors beat the Charlotte Hornets 116-99 on December 2nd to win their 20th straight game to start the 2015-16 NBA season. The Warriors were led by Stephen Curry with 40 points, and he even sat out the entire fourth quarter. Curry is averaging 32 points per game this season. What the hell, the guy is unbelievable, let’s just give him the MVP award now.
On the other end of the spectrum, we have the Philadelphia 76ers. Last year, the Sixers started the season 0-17. They outdid themselves this year, starting 0-18 before finally beating the almost as inept Los Angeles Lakers on December 1st. While the Warriors were polishing off the Hornets, the 76ers were losing to the New York Knicks for loss #19. They lost their last 10 games of the ’14-‘15 season for a 28 game losing streak over two years; they’ve also lost 81 of their last 100 games. Golden State has won a staggering 85 of 100.
