Thunder Beat Pacers to Even Series

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 34 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 123-107 win over the Indiana Pacers in Oklahoma City on June 8th in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. That evened the series at a game apiece.

As in Game 1, the Thunder got off to a big first half lead, but this time they held on to win. In Game, OKC let the Pacers back in the game and Tyrese Haliburton sank a jumper in the last second for a stunning one point Indiana victory. Such a loss might demoralize some teams, by the Thunder was not.

Alex Caruso and Aaron Wiggins scored 20 and 18 off the bench for OKC, and Jalen Williams added 19. Seven Pacers scored in double figures, led by Haliburton with 17.

The scene shifts to Indianapolis for Game 3 on June 11th.
