Supporting Cast: The Hobo Games – Shameless

Okay, Mr. Gallagher, why not waste everyone’s time?

Sonya Leslie played Keandra, the lady who spoke to Lip about his desire to foster Xan. “This process isn’t set up to give a 20-something male non-relative guardianship of a prepubescent girl,” she explained, letting him know right off the bat that his chances of success were slim. After that home interview though, they’re about at nil.

Is that an open hole in the floor?

Sharif Atkins played Peter Naylor, the no-nonsense unannounced home inspector from the DCFS. Fiona let him in the house even though Lip was not home and she was hung over to the gills. She told him she had been sound asleep when he got there so he knew she wasn’t watching the three kids in the playpen. There was a big hole in the floor where Debbie and Kelly took out the old furnace. Worse yet, Debbie was outside having a water fight with Kelly when Fiona had just told Naylor that Debbie was in charge of the kids. Lip was unable to get Naylor to cut him any slack. He refused to come back after the bunkbed Lip bought for Xan was delivered.

Can you work Labor Day?

Sarah Colonna plays Lori, Carl’s boss at Captain Bob’s Shrimp Shack, whose fry guy Jameson quit on her. Carl was promoted to his spot after saying he guesses he can work on Labor Day. We took that to mean that this long long Shameless summer will be coming to an end soon and Carl will go back to military school and his girlfriend, Kelly will go to Annapolis. Or, she might be Debbie’s girlfriend by then, who knows?

This is grill, bun warmer, and beverage.

Jerome Ro Brooks, Eddie Alfano and Jason McBeth played Eliano, KJ and Stump, Carl’s new co-workers. Carl showed them a picture either Debbie or Kelly sent him of their water fight on his phone. Those guys definitely thought Carl had something to be worried about when it looked like Debbie was trying to kiss Kelly.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner

Kade’sha Barnard played Gloria, the default winner of the Hobo Loco Man contest. She had the most social media followers and that’s what won her the $50K after both Frank and Mikey failed to jump on a moving train in the last test. It seemed like Gloria never said a word in either of the episodes she was in but actually, she was the one who was threatening to commit suicide in the Emergency Room Challenge. Frank and Mikey won that one by making it look like they were coughing up blood.
