Supporting Cast: Mo White – Shameless

Neal Bledsoe played Max Whitford. In his conversation with Fiona, we learned that Ford’s last name is Kellogg and that he doesn’t like Ford. We already learned from Ford that he doesn’t like Whitford. However, Whitford’s description of Ford throwing a tantrum over removing some old wainscoting sounded entirely feasible, didn’t it? Maybe Whitford is a dick, per Ford’s assessment, and maybe he is a douchebag, per Liam’s, but Fiona’s misapplication of the word “artisanal” that she learned from Liam was at least one tip off to Whitford that Fiona isn’t as sophisticated as she likes to pretend she is. It remains to be seen if Whitford will get the better of Fiona, business-wise.

Meera Rohit Kumbhani played Reshma, the mom who Xan robbed at the playground. She was hopping mad, calling Xan a hood rat when she spoke to Lip and threatened to call the cops if she saw Xan at the playground again. Lip paid her the $80 that Xan stole. According to Xan, she left that money in her mother’s P.O. box but Lip said he would leave some more money there. Wow! Isn’t Xan’s mother a drug addict? Lip should know better.

Patrick Davis played Jason, a new arrival at the AA meeting that Lip and Brad go to. He had to take his baby with him because shelters won’t let men with babies in. Jason wanted Lip to be his sponsor and by the end of episode, Lip agreed to give it a go. Did you get the feeling that Jason and his baby will be the next guests at the Gallaghers? That was one cute baby though!

Ashley Romans played Alex, a woman who is posing as a man on a construction site in order to get equal pay. Ashley’s IMDB profile shows her appearing in 4 more episodes this season and this video tweet shows that she will be in a relationship with Debbie.
