Supporting Cast: Emily – Shameless

Aubrey K. Miller played Emily, the title character of this episode. Emily needed a heart transplant but didn’t get it. She let Frank be her daddy on her last night, even though Frank thought she was Fiona.

Emy Coligado played Wesley Gretzsky, the social worker who came over at one of the worst possible times to make a surprise visit. She decided to cut Lip (Jeremy Allen White) some slack when she learned that the 7 extra children in the house lived in a van. She didn’t know about Lip’s plans to send them back to the van after dinner.

Ian Kahn and Suzanne Cryer played Jason and Cheryl, Amanda’s (Nichole Bloom) adoptive parents. Was it Carl who suggested that maybe Wesley Gretzsky was Amanda’s real mom? Jason, who did not deny Lip’s suggestion that he is “kind of a dick,” paid Lip $10,000 to break up with Amanda so maybe Lip changed his mind about letting Bonnie and her siblings stay, but we doubt it. Wouldn’t he still have to show Gretzsky a day-care license?
