Supporting Cast: #AbortionRules – Shameless

Here are some of the actors who were in the supporting cast of Shameless: #AbortionRules, S6 E2 (1/17/2016). The episode recap is here

As we were saying in our first supporting cast post of this season, Jenica Bergere and Lily Holleman played The Two Lisas last year. This year it’s Jenica and Lee Stark as Lisa #2. The Lisas are planning on having children soon.

Jinhee Joung played Dr. Jenny. She managed to de-escalate the situation when Frank Gallagher showed up in the hospital ward with lighter fluid and Bianca’s belongings. Wayne Alon Scott played the security guard, Lenny. Frank saw a possible replacement for Bianca in Dr. Jenny but she wasn’t having that and told him that someone with Bianca’s looks, education and status would not have looked twice at him if it were not for her terminal illness but in a much nicer way than that.

Frank then found a terminally ill replacement for Bianca in Hilary, who just learned she was a goner. Cathryn de Prume played Hilary. She was gone a lot sooner than expected courtesy of Frank’s crack pipe. Rest in peace, Hilary.

Dee Freeman played Mrs. Seery, Carl’s biology teacher. She demanded to know why Nick was sitting in her class when he didn’t belong there. “Why,” Carl demanded back, “Because he’s black?” That was funny in and of itself because Mrs. Seery was black, too, but her response was even funnier: “No, because he looks 35 years old.”

Brielle Barbusca played Bonnie and River Bleu played Yolanda, the two teen moms at Debbie’s high school, who gave Debbie various reasons why teenage motherhood was hard. Bonnie’s mom is too selfish to babysit her grandson, Ramon, so Bonnie can go to the mall for one thing. Yolanda can’t wait till she’s 16 so she can quit school. That’s three years away.
