Stephen Curry and Golden State Warriors Remain Unbeaten After Downing Clippers
The NBA defending champion Golden State Warriors had their first real test of the 2015-16 NBA season on November 4th as they hosted the Los Angeles Clippers. Both teams were 4-0 entering the contest. The Warriors picked up right where they left off last season, coming back from a 10 point deficit in the fourth quarter to win 112-108.
Stephen Curry, the NBA’s reigning MVP, led the way with 31 points for Golden State. Curry is off to a tremendous start, averaging 35.8 points per game to lead the league. All five Golden State starters scored in double figures. Chris Paul had 24 points and Blake Griffin had 23 for the Clippers.
This rivalry is beginning to take on some intensity, and the two teams will next meet in Los Angeles on November 19th
