Raptors Beat Cavaliers, Even Series at 2-2
After destroying the Toronto Raptors by an average of 25 points in the first two games of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, it looked like the path was clear for the Cleveland Cavaliers to return to the NBA Finals. But those first two victories were in Cleveland, and when the series moved to Toronto for Games 3 and 4, it was another story.
Toronto took Game 3 99-84 behind a 32 point performance by DeMar DeRozan and a monster 26 rebound game by Bismack Biyombo. In Game 4, Toronto led by as much as 18 points in both the second and third quarters, but had to beat back Cleveland’s comeback attempt before winning 105-99. The Cavaliers led 92-89 with 6:03 left in 4th quarter before the Raptors regained the lead for good with 3:59 left. Kyle Lowry led Toronto with 35 points while DeRozan again scored 32.
The Cavaliers will attempt to get back on course at home as series returns to Cleveland for Game 5 on May 25th.
