Pat Sajak: The Margarita Tapes

Here’s a funny video where Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak  tells Dan Le Batard (Dan Le Batard Is Highly Questionable, ESPN 2) that he and Vanna White used to knock back the margaritas between taping of the show in his younger days when his alcohol tolerance was apparently a lot higher than it is now.

According to the 65-year-old TV veteran, Wheel of Fortune had two-and-a half hour dinner breaks during the early days and he and Vanna would spend that time at Los Arcos in Burbank, where they had killer margaritas.

“I think the average number,” Pat said, “was quatro.” although he allowed that might go up to as many as six! “I had a great time,” he added, “They’re really great tapes to get a hold of.”
