Here’s a summary of the clues on The Best Ever Trivia Show for Tuesday, August 13, 2019 with host Sherri Shepherd. Today’s episode title is “On the Move.”
The format of this show pits 3 contestants against 3 trivia experts. There are 3 rounds and the player with the highest score wins $1,000 and moves on to the Ultimate Trivia Challenge for a chance to win $10,000. They give one player a choice of categories and a choice of experts to play against. It’s a multiple choice format.

Muffy Marracco, Jonathan Corbblah and Susannah Brooks
Today’s contestants:
Sarah, Beau and Kathleen. Sarah is a returning champ. She won $10,000 yesterday.
In Round 1, Sarah chose THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION instead of Woodwind Instruments and she chose expert Susannah. 4 questions, 50 points for each correct answer and double if Susannah gets it wrong.

The twist in this 3-question round is the expert reveals how confident s/he is about the answer and the players have a chance to go with that for 200 points or to pick their own answer for 400 points, if right. Muffy is this round’s expert.

That poor young man in the middle, Beau… he seemed baffled up there, but the ladies played well.
@VJ – have you noticed that the “experts” are much less animated when they’re being introduced at the beginning of the show? I wonder if they were asked to tone it down or, perhaps, just ran out of ideas on how to be cute & quirky?!
lol on the experts, JJ. Maybe they watched a few episodes and saw how that looked and decided to tone it down on their own
I must say that I was kind of shocked at the Aaron Burr responses to today’s first question esp from Susannah. Mainly I guess because Burr’s law & political career before he became VP was in New York. But for the record, Burr was a teenager and student at Princeton at the time of the Boston Massacre.
