Monday’s clue was the easiest, in our view. Wednesday’s was the hardest and the results bear those conclusions out. The two clues that ended with a single solve were really not that difficult. It doesn’t prove anything but, going by the predictions on those days, no one anticipated those results.
In any event, these FJ!’s were a lot easier than the clues in the 2018 Teacher’s Tournament.
The contestants describe all the things a teacher is in this video.
Here is a list of the nine contestants moving on to the semi-finals next week and the scores they finished with. Next Monday, however, they all start at zero again.
These 9 contestants are guaranteed a minimum $10,000 for making the semi-finals. All the players who didn’t make the cut went home with $5,000. We will have a complete prize list on next week’s recap.
@William, it’s probably a pretty safe bet, but I’m picking Benjamin and Francois to win their semi-final matches, unless they are in the same game. Then it could be tense!
@John Christian, if it’s that bad that you have to type in all caps, don’t watch it.
@VJ, I’m picking Sara.
I’m happy that this was a better 1st week of this year’s JEOPARDY! Teachers Tournament than last year.
Better? @William Weyser, I call this one BORING.
John, ”Better” is my opinion!
