What a strange week. We began with a clue everyone got, followed by a clue only one person got. That pattern was repeated the next two days. Only 2 players made it to Final Jeopardy! the last game of the week, and they both got it right. The 3 clues everyone got were all easy as pie. Of the other 2 clues, I’d say the Countries of the World clue was the hardest just because of the red herring they threw in there.
Isaac Hirsch finished last week as a 3x champ with $70,186. He went on to win every game this week and ended up with $195,389. As you can see by the pre-FJ! scores on the Early Spoiler post, 2 of his games were runaways.
Jeopardy! paid out $125,203 to Isaac this week, and he’s not done yet. At this rate, with only 2 weeks to go, we might even be seeing Isaac in September! As usual, $25,000 went to the runners-up.
Here is the NO. 1 ALBUMS BY PEOPLE WHO AREN’T TAYLOR SWIFT category from Thursday’s game.
Reminder: Alex Trebek is being honored with a Forever stamp by the U.S. Postal Service. The stamps will be released on July 22, the anniversary of Trebek’s birthday.
