It was almost an exact duplicate of last week in terms of correct FJ! responses. Again, there were 3 triple stumpers, a clue with 2 right and another with 1 right. The only difference was that last week, there were only 2 players for the FJ! that got 1 right. Last week, Thursday’s clue was nominated for the toughest and I think this week’s Thursday clue fits that bill as well. Without the second half of the “women first” saying, you could say the contestants were left stranded on the high seas. I don’t suppose I have to say that the South American Cities clue was the easiest, but I will anyway.
This week’s winners:
Mon 5/12/25 $5,600 Andrew Jones
Tue 5/13/25 $20,800 Andrew Jones
Wed 5/14/25 $16,400 Brandon Monsman
Thu 5/15/25 $7,200 Brandon Monsman
Fri 5/16/25 $8,400 Mitch Loflin
Andrew Jones was one of our 2x champs this week. He won $26,400 before losing to Brandon Monsman. Brandon won $23,600 in his 2 games but lost to Mitch Loflin on Friday. Last week, I was saying that the $62,700 Jeopardy! paid out in winnings was probably the lowest all season. Well, this week’s $58,400 tops that!
Jeopardy! also paid out the usual $15K in consolation prizes. Andrew and Brandon each got $2,000 of it.
Here is the PICTURE THE SONG category from Wednesday’s game.
