This week was a mixed bag with two FJ! clues no one got and one clue everyone got. That was just in the first 3 games. Tuesday’s clue was clearly the easiest. I think Wednesday’s clue was the hardest. Whatever the purpose of diagnosing literary characters from decades gone by is, I’d put that in the obscure knowledge category especially when they’re applying today’s standards.
This week’s winners:
Mon 2/09/26 $1,600 Drew Goins
Tue 2/10/26 $14,400 Andrew He
Wed 2/11/26 $2,786 Alison Betts
Thu 2/12/26 $18,400 Long Nguyen
Fri 2/13/26 $28,001 Roger Craig
The above figures are the scores at the end of each game. You can easily see which games were rough. The prize for the first 4 games was a spot in the semifinals of the 2026 Invitational Tournament. The first semifinal game came on Friday and Roger Craig became the first finalist. (He won his semifinal spot on the previous Friday.)
Liz Feltner, T.L. Cubbage, Mehal Shah, Jen Giles, Josh Hill, Isaac Hirsch, Will Yancey and Adriana Harmeyer got consolation prizes of $5,000 in the quarterfinals. Jen Giles and Drew Basile each got $10,000 in the semifinals.
Here is the I NEED SOME SPACE category from Wednesday’s game.
