Jeopardy was preempted here because of the gubernatorial debate in New Joisey, boo hiss.

  2. Darius Scott says:

Wow! 30 games! I love it!

Also VJ, your site is very neat! I love how you made it! Thanks for 11 years of your support, kindness and achievements throughout the history.

  3. Lou says:

30 wins is a big accomplishment for Matt and still it makes me enjoy his run so far on the show. He is on a roll so far. Though if he keeps this up he could end up cleaning up October in order to catch up to james and Ken. He is inching closer to the 32 win mark. VJ wasn’t africa a part of a clue in landlocked countries during gil collins run in 2018?

  4. Judy O'Toole says:

First Daily Double should read …name and pitch… not name and page. I got the right answer but was confused until I checked the Jeopardy Archive.
Thank you for maintaining this site. I love it.

  5. Jacklynn Castle says:

I have watched all of Matt’s shows so far and I look forward everyday to seeing him win again. It is just amazing and mind boggling to hear him answer all those questions! Makes the show so much more interesting and something to look forward everyday when you have someone like Matt or James on there and they have their amazing winning streaks. Go Matt & keep it up! You can catch James & Ken!

      Go Matt Go!

    • Emily Lloyd says:

If he would only stop saying ” what’s “.

      • Sammi says:

To each his own, but personally, I don’t see how saying “what’s” to everything helps him save thinking time. To me, it would require less thinking and be more natural to say “who’s” when appropriate.

Same thing with the daily doubles — it would require less thinking to just say “make it a true Daily Double”

  6. Richard Corliss says:

Come on, Matt. We’ve had enough of this nonsense. It’s time to let someone else win tomorrow.

    • Kevin Cheng says:

We’ll we’ll see how things work out tomorrow whether Matt can keep going or go home. Winning 30 games is a lot.

      • Darius Scott says:

@Richard Corliss – However you want it, make it your opinion. It is not nonsense to me, but it can be to you. I don’t think he is being greedy either, but if he is, then it is probably in a decent way.

      • Richard Corliss says:

Smells like a bet to me and I’m not losing a bet, Kevin Cheng.

    • klm says:

i agree with richard. runaway games are boring. there’s nothing to look forward too halfway through round 2 and most times even earlier by the end of round 1. the element of suspense is gone.

  7. Kevin Cheng says:

I got to say that Season 38 got off to an excellent so far and $70,400 is the highest payday so far this season.

    • Darius Scott says:

@KevinCheng – That’s also familiar to how he won $74,000 on Thursday’s game. It’s very simple to compare it because $74,000 was probably the highest win ever in Season 37. $70,400 is a very big amount either. I hope Matt wins tomorrow and let’s see how it goes.
