ALL of the contestants got Final Jeopardy! right.
WHO IS WILE E. COYOTE?
(the spelling Wiley Coyote was accepted)
Everyone knows that Wile E. Coyote’s go-to source for all the items named in the clue (and many more) is the Acme company, in his never-ending pursuit of the Roadrunner and, on occasion, Bugs Bunny. Wile E Coyote is probably Acme’s best customer, despite continual injuries sustained when he fails to read or follow directions like getting out of the way when rehydrating boulders. Check out the Illustrated Catalog of Acme Products to see all the products Wile E. Coyote bought and which cartoon he used them in.
Here are 2 old “Before & After” clues that mentioned Wile E.
$800) Path used by Dorothy to reach Oz & Wile E. Coyote’s nemesis
($200) Kerouac classic that’s Wile E. Coyote’s nemesis
Raymond bet $399. He finished with $4,599.
Emily bet $3,599 bet, bringing her up to $15,599.
Kyle bet $8,201 and won the match with $24,001. His 5-day total is $107,602.
A triple stumper from each round:
I GOT YOUR BOOK ($800) Completes the title of David Lagercrantz’ book that continued Stieg Larsson’s series, “The Girl in…”

@JJ Congratulations for your right prediction. I was at least somewhat right in saying Kyle will get it, but I did not figure all 3. Looks that cartoons leave more of an impression than what teachers are trying to get into your brain in terms of math, English, geography, history, literature etc…………..
Congrats to Kyle and the other players as well of course.
Now, what’s with the CotD??? 20 posts but only FOUR people posted and only THREE predictions??? Where is everybody??? Consider yourselves yellow carded.
It’s pretty simple, John. Some people like to make public predictions, some prefer to make private predictions and some don’t want to predict at all.
Coincidence: I just watched Beat Shazam and they had 2 of the songs that were in today’s 90’s songs — one by EMF and the other by the Goo Goo Dolls
Yep, that terrible DD clue in TOMB RAIDER cost her the game, eventually making Kyle a 5-time champion with over $100,000. Has anyone watched the Looney Tunes and the Merrie Melodies cartoons?
That’s all I can say, and in the words of Mel Blanc, “Th-th-th-tha-tha-tha-that’s all, folks!”
it sucks that terrible DD Clue is what cost Emily the game.
So what exactly is the difference between a tomb and a mausoleum ?????? Style, size, importance of who is in there????
Congratulations to the contestants on getting final jeopardy right once again. Now VJ, you have kids that watched wile E Coyote and road runner cartoons when they were little right? Also there was another cartoon called Loonatics Unleashed with the road runner and the coyote called Tech E Coyote, do you remember it? Although Raymond didn’t have much luck today, but still a triple solve is better then getting it wrong. We now have the first streaker in Kyle Jones for season 35.
Yes, Lou, I watched Looney Tunes when I was little, too. On Saturdays, they would often show one at the movies before the featured film started.
idk if I am missing something, but isn’t it unusual for a clue to have a word in it that is part of the answer, unless maybe in Stupid Answers? For such a clue to be a Daily Double (Emily’s, in this case) just does not sit well with me. I think she should be invited back.

Yeah I noticed that too, just like with Vincent and his previous game with a clue that cost him the game. Emily should be invited back and have another shot at the game. I mean a daily double on the stupid answers category is a joke. It should have been under a different category. I didn’t like how it was worded.
hopefully they do bring her back.
