1/3 on DD, and missed FJ. Gee, I didn’t feel dumb when I woke up this morning!

That was something, no misses until the middle of DJ! And I got the Taxol tree, because it was new when I was in med school!

  2. Howard says:

IMO all three DDs were on the easy side, and I CANNOT believe that at least one of them didn’t come up with Lincoln for Final. Good grief!

Another game lacking in drama. Not much chance of beating him when he finds all three DDs. Yesterday he eked out a win despite not getting to any of them.

Knew Petty’s guitarist (I’m reading TP’s bio right now and have been a big fan for decades); Taxol tree; and got the Hawaiian Island but only after two players missed it.

My daughter couldn’t believe Paolo’s low bet on that ‘Great’ DD. She said he could’ve bet a bundle without risking his runaway.

      • Howard says:

I was sorta OK with that. Had he wagered $5K, let’s say, and been wrong, that would have dropped him to $20400. Alex had $7600, and could have run the table on the remaining 7 clues to kill the runaway (I assume; 7 clues have to be worth at least $3200 in DJ).

  3. Ismael Gomez says:

And we got our first triple stumper of the season since today’s final was a tough one.

  4. Kevin Cheng says:

Paolo is our first official qualifier this season for the Tournament of Champions that will happen later this season.
