Wow, great job Matt! $101,400 in 3 days is $33,800 per day!

  2. Jules says:

As I recall, one of the answers last night concerned a movie with something about a tiger. Can anyone remember the answer? Thank you.

    • VJ says:

LITERARY GEOGRAPHY ($200) Bernard Cornwell’s low-born soldier has his first adventure in “Sharpe’s Tiger”, which takes place in this Asian land during British rule

      Rachel: What is India?

  3. Albert says:

I thought matt was another ken jennings but when matt missed the final i realized that matt probably won’t win more than 20 games. Literature is a huge deal on the show and matt showed his achilles elbow with the mr darcy miss.

  4. Howard says:

Amazing what minutiae the brain can retain. I’ve never read or watched anything by Jane Austen, but my wife was a big fan of every iteration of “Pride and Prejudice.” So I took a stab at “Mr. Darcy,” even though I had no idea exactly who he was (probably the love interest).

Tonight’s challengers were decent, but no match for Matt, who steamrolled them a la Holzhauer and Jennings.

  5. Rick says:

I came up with ‘The Great Gatsby’ so I was way off. Oh well!

  6. William Weyser says:

Even though things didn’t work out in FJ!, Matt Amodio is still the 15th player to have won at least $100,000 in 3 days.

  7. Ismael Gomez says:

Tough FJ as we finished the week with a triple stumper. As usual, nobody knows about literary characters.

  8. Lou says:

If anyone here reads pride and prejudice, this wasn’t a tough final because in 2005 Kiera Knightly and Judi Dench starred in the movie based on the book. Mr Bennet wasn’t a bad guess but Prudence is from Parasol Protectorate and does not have a guy owning a house. With a 100K win under matt’s belt, this is the third highest payout win since James Holzhauer also passed that big number as well, I think he definitely has a good shot at hitting 200K VJ.

  9. Kevin Cheng says:

Well we finished the week with a tough FJ! but Matt has made it to the 100,000 mark in just 3 games and we are only 3 weeks away until the season 37 finale of Jeopardy!
