I missed all 3 DD, but got FJ. Got about half of the TS.

Interesting thing about Haleakala: about 14 years ago, there was snow on the ground on 49/50 States. Which State was snow-free? Florida! The snow on the ground in Hawai’i was on top of Haleakala!

Congratulations Adriana the Super Champ. I enjoy watching her play. She’s cool as a cucumber. FJ was a no-brainer imo. First of all, most states to the west of the Mississippi are larger than those to the east. Second, I’ve driven across the states a few times and New Mexico took a long time. Stopped at a restaurant in Albuquerque once and had the best meal. We love road trips. They are the best way to see, and enjoy, America.

Trivia fact I’ve known since childhood, many decades ago: the largest state east of the Mississippi is……..Georgia!
You can stump almost anyone with that one. Most will say NY, PA, NC, or FL.

  3. Howard says:

Other than kegling and the territorial capital, I thought the stumpers were quite difficult. New Mexico came to mind right away for FJ, but then South Carolina crept in there, so I really wasn’t sure. Good on all three for getting it. Sarah made a nice comeback from negative-land. Scott seemed to be guessing when he said “Maui” late in the game, and had he missed, it would have been a lock win for Adriana.

    • Sharon Conley says:

Do you remember what the answer was for the question “Maui?” I am trying to remember that fact and I can’t. Thanks if you can.

      • VJ says:

        Sharon, here’s the clue:

OBSERVATORIES ($1600) The world’s largest solar telescope is on Mount Haleakala on this Hawaiian island

  4. Rick says:

The FJ was obviously a shoo-in. Besides that, it was a pretty good game.

  5. Kevin Cheng says:

Adriana is now a double digit super champion. She becomes the 17th player to win 10 or more games on Jeopardy!
