So, I first said The Congo (DRC), then I said, maybe Angola, but went back to DRC. Oh well!

    Not much more to say.

  2. Rick says:

I did above average in the game, but chose Brazil for FJ. Wow, a half dozen Portuguese spoken countries in Africa to choose from no less. Well, I knew that Brazil wasn’t going to fly, and I sure wasn’t disappointed on that account. Anyways, some of the DDs were a cinch.

I was surprised Chris couldn’t get Juliet ‘s line but we still got a chuckle out of How now brown cow… I text that phrase to my daughter if I start worrying where she is

  3. VJ says:

Last year, Mali and Burkina Faso both dropped French as their official language. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a clue about one or the other these days.

  4. Howard says:

Woo-hoo, the two colonies I’ve always associated with Portugal are Brazil and Angola. Those other languages sounded African, so the latter was my guess.

The silent-letter timekeeper seemed obvious to me. Never saw it once, but knew the Taraji Henson series. Can’t say I knew the parallel stumper, but I do know there’s a freeway marker on I-5 near Salem marking the exact halfway point between the equator and the Arctic circle. If you’d ever watched that unique sport, you’d have known what a jammer does. (“KC Bomber” with Raquel Welch wasn’t half-bad either.)

  5. Ismael Gomez says:

I hope William will say darn those daily doubles to Chris today.

  6. VJ says:

Well, that reversal was rough. Chris wouldn’t have won anyway, it’s true. But to claw his way back to $10K+ and lose $4K right before FJ! had to be a big letdown.

I hope this will be enough for them to stop with “the KJV version” once and for all. Check it out — ‘why have you forsaken me’ is in the majority nowadays

    Matthew 27:46

    • Richard Walls Corliss says:

Well, that is not nice of the staff and crew, VJ.

      • Terrill Beckerman says:

        Well said

        • Richard Corliss says:

Have you checked all of your different versions of the Bible? Veggietales never mentioned it. Especially McGee and Me, Kingsley’s meadow, Secret Adventures, and Angel Wings.
