Could the answer of the Count of Monte Cristo been wrong? Because at the time he was betrayed and thrown in prison, he had not yet assumed that title, but was still known as Edmond Dantes. I’m trying to find the exact wording of the clue.

Hi, Rick, I’m pretty sure they would have accepted the Count of Monte Cristo or Edmond Dantes. (I said Edmond Dantes, too)  Here’s the clue:

RETURNS ($800) In an 1840s Dumas novel, he is falsely accused of being a Bonapartist & jailed at the Chateau d’If; he returns for revenge though

Congrats to all three players getting final right. Seems as those who had the lowest scores will not be in the semi finals. We have three great scores for wild card spots but still even if one player gets eliminated early tomorrow, Sophie could still be eligible as the alternate for the semi-finals. I haven’t watched a lot of romance movies but do you remember the holiday and he’s just not that into you VJ? There were tons of romance scenes in there.
