Surprised myself by hitting 3/3 DDs (middle one an educated guess), FJ was a mystery, but in hindsight, the clue gave it away somewhat. And seriously, not one player from 2 years ago knew where the lanterns were lit?
The two homophones stumpers were easy, so was the last section of the book/symphony.
Liam is definitely going to get creamed in the TOC. Jenn should not have rung in so often not knowing it. And, had Dr. Liebling (Simon) wagered everything, instead of his paltry $1k, I don’t think Liam would have had a runaway.
What really salted me, though, were the two really bad guesses at FJ. I got FJ, despite neither reading the book nor seeing the film. But, the da Vinci Code? 2006. An arts admin should at least be proximate to that. And, A Clockwork Orange? 1962??
I was 2/3 on DD.
As usual, tonight’s game was another clear runaway for Liam. As for me, I didn’t do all that well in the game, and the FJ had stumped me.
No Jeopardy here tonight because of the very annoying NFL draft.
That was a tough final as we end the week with a triple stumper.
Liam is the third player this season to have swept a week of Jeopardy!
