Oh, and, I did chuckle at “Paul Drake” – Perry Mason approves! If the player was an investigator, instead of a front desk guy, I would have laughed out loud!

BK is my way of remembering the capitals of Rep. of the Congo and Dem. Rep. of Congo (DRC). Going west to east, the Rep. of Congo is first, then DRC. BK stands for Brazzaville and Kinshasa. Across from each other on the Congo River, they are the 2 closest world capitals.

Wasn’t certain of FJ, but Hindenburg was all I could muster.
Competitive game, just a few too many missed answers and stumpers.
I was semi-shocked when Mark didn’t know the Thoreau essay. It was Gandhi’s calling card, for goodness’ sake. And totally shocked when Amy didn’t know the largest lizard.
Kinshasa was the site 50 years ago of the famous Ali-Foreman “Rumble in the Jungle.” (I have a Neiman print commemorating it.) The country has changed its name since then, but this group had no clue.

As is common, you said what I was going to! Just as common, you said it better than me! As to Final, I got it, after I asked myself, “What else could it be?”

Good to see my fellow ER doc win.

And, I’ll sheepishly say, I called it “Zaire”!

Unimpressive main game as all 3 DDs were missed resulted our sixth shutout of the season. The DDs were not nice to anybody today.

Amy had 16,000 when she got the daily double. Darn those daily doubles today. Not a good day for the wagering clues but we have a triple solve in Final. Fun Fact: we had the other Amy Hummel who was on in early Season 19 and won one game and now this Amy Hummel won one game so far.
