Astonishing that none of them knew of the Algonquin round table.

Central american capitals are not that hard to remember but its strange that no one knew that entire category today. Ouch. I mean I got one of them which was Belmopan, Belize and Managua, Nicaragua. I thought carter was going to run an entire category today but it didn;t happen,. But it was a close call today

A close call there for Carter. I thought that Christian would be the one to get this right being from NJ and after seeing he missed it, I still thought Pamela wasn’t going to bet big.

Funny I was thinking about Central America the other day with that Secretary of State thing — There are only 7 Central American countries and only 8 Secretaries of State. Easier to learn than some other areas of study.

You mean UN Secretaries-General? Because yeah that DH/Dag Hammarskjold was an odd miss the other day. He’s one of the famous ones, it’s not like they asked for Kurt Waldheim.

The three of them putting up an 0-fer in that capitals category was even stranger. Ouch!

      • VJ says:

yes, I meant UN Secretaries-General. They’ve had clues on them all.

On that Capitals DD – Trebek said Christian wasn’t happy about getting it but he actually went looking for it. By then you had to know it was in that category

Christian is from Sea Isle City in South Jersey (like me). Most of us in South Jersey know nothing about NYC.
