Only ONE of the contestants got Final Jeopardy! right.
“In 1897, Queen Victoria, the Monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the Empress of India, celebrated her Diamond Jubilee. During that year several rulers of the Princely States in India traveled to England to participate in the celebrations. Sir Pratap Singh, as the Regent of Jodhpur also traveled to England and took with him the Jodhpur Polo team. The team, besides winning most matches, also caused a sensation with their new breeches. The British were quick to spot the advantages of the new design and quickly adopted them.” Much more about Pratap Singh and his baggy pants on The Gentleman’s Gazette
Kevin got it right with “jhodpurs.” (Trebek was as silent about the spelling as the ‘h’ is itself.) He bet $1,600 and finished with $17,200.
Adam thought it was crops. He lost his $1,505 bet, leaving him with $15,595. That meant Kevin will be returning tomorrow as the new Jeopardy! champ.

I guess Rebecca was out of her depth today.
Love the M. C. hammer dancing in jodhpurs. Congrats to kevin on his win. Still a funny response.
Big congrats to Kevin on winning and the lone FJ get. It was funny that they had an M.C. Hammer clue on the board, because when I saw the clue this morning, between the category and the first two words, I thought of him.
You guys had a great board up there today. I liked several categories, esp Movie Stars, 20th Century and, WHH

@vj, lol. I thought about M. C. Hammer too dancing in his Jodhpur pants this morning. The clue writers had a running theme going in the game tonight on him. That was funny but clever.
