Here are some more clues from the 2/20/2026 Jeopardy! game. Please don’t put the answers to these clues in the comments so people who missed the game can have a chance to answer them. It is okay to refer to them by category and clue value or by part of the clue.

So, I was 0/3 on DD and missed FJ. The third DD, I said “The Bridge ON The River Kwai”. In the words of dear departed Alex “Ooh – so close”!

As for Final, I first said “Brussels”, and my spouse reminded me of “town”. I then said “Gstaad”. However, my spouse thought due a bit (but music was still going), and got it in time.

That’s good on Andrew. I’m happy that he didn’t seem to be “rusty”, at all.

Because the film is “on” and the novel “over!” I can never remember which is which. The DD asked for the novel.

Congratulations, Andrew He! You finally won a tournament, and you’re now a half-millionaire with a total of $534,365. See you in “Jeopardy! Masters”.

What an amazing 2nd round performance by Andrew. From $4400 to $31600 entering Final. Most of the clues he answered were words and names I’ve never heard of. I did get the last DD, having read the novel and seen the outstanding film. And I believe they had different endings.

Re Final, I said Zurich, the banking capital of Switzerland and maybe all of Europe? In hindsight, VJ’s annotation of the WEF dates in 2026 made me realize that this show possibly was taped right around that time. I believe the president attended it. (I play J6 daily and I think there was a clue this week that mentioned January 2026.)

TV Pets was a killer, except for the $1000 clue, which should have been $200. 4 of the 5 Loanwords were much easier. First DD wasn’t hard but I just couldn’t come up with it.

  4. Rick says:

It was quite a competitive game during the course of the game, but then Andrew drew a sizeable lead shortly before the FJ. No, I didn’t read the novel so I didn’t have much of an idea as to the correct response in FJ.
