WHAT IS POLAND?
Polskie Radio was founded in August of 1925 but came under attack in September 1939 when Hitler invaded Poland. According to the Natl. WWII Museum, “A frustrated Hitler declared on September 25 [1939] that he wanted the immediate surrender of Warsaw. Some 560 tons of bombs were dropped that day, along with 72 tons of firebombs.” Polish composer and Holocaust survivor Władysław Szpilman’s live performance of Chopin’s Nocturne in C-sharp minor was cut short by the attacks. Polskie Radio remained shuttered until 1939.
Szpilman played the same Chopin piece when Polskie Radio returned in 1939. His remarkable life story was the subject of the 2002 movie “The Pianist”, starring Adrien Brody as Szpilman. At the 2003 Oscars, Brody won Best Actor, Roman Polanski won Best Director and the film won Best Adapted Screenplay.
Gloria got it right. She bet $1,595 and finished with $3,195.
Kimberley went with England. That cost her $3,500 and left her with $5,100.
Stevie got it right, too. He didn’t bet a single złoty so he won this game with $18,000. Stevie’s 2-day total is $35,987.
A triple stumper from each round:

Many of the clues found in today’s Jeopardy game were rather obvious (including the FJ). With that being said, I did miss a clue in the ‘American TV Shows In Spanish’ category. Shame on me as Spanish is more or less my second language! Anyways, to make up for that foul up, I did get the French ‘Au courant’ (currently)..
Oh oh! I shouldn’t have mentioned the French term since the Jeopardy game is still being shown.. Whoops!
My guesses for the final were Austria or Italy. Woops
