Final Jeopardy: Writer/Directors (12-25-20)

Here are 4 more triple stumpers from the 12/25/2020 Jeopardy! game:

CAR TALK ($800) For your safety, check this regularly; one of the first ones on the market was called the Sireno
(it’s the thing that makes the noise that is the title of this song)

FUN WITH ASTROLOGY ($1200) Oh, yes! They’re the 3 signs of the zodiac that end with the letter “O” show

MISSING ELEMENTS ($1200) Ammonia: ____H3

($2000) Methanol: ____H3OH

Here is the Niagara Falls category:

“Niagara Falls” was a recent correct response to a clue on 12/3/2020. The way that contestant Fred Nelson answered showed he knew the “Slowly I turned” skit from back in the day. This video shows one Abbott and Costello version after the clue, although the skit has also been done by The Three Stooges and any others. Fred won that game, too, when he was the only one who knew Final Jeopardy!

SNEAK PEEK clues – YOU GET AN “F”
($400) A hockey game begins with one of these
($800) A salmon part, or to skid from side to side in a car
($1200) This type of cable contains threads of glass that transmit signals in the form of pulses of light
($1600) Central Park’s Belvedere Castle was designed in 1865 as one of the fanciful Victorian-era structures called by this rather pejorative name
($2000) The basic designs of these include cross, saltire & border; the USA’s is a canton style
